I stand looking out my bedroom window this morning, watching as snow gently falls from the sky. I see each flake landing where it is destined, in a landscape blanked with white. While I watch this wintry performance, my thoughts drift, as I recall how it is said there are no two snowflakes exactly alike. Each snowflake is formed unique, changed by temperature and humidity as the crystal experiences falling to earth.
Not unlike each of us who are uniquely made — no two exactly alike. We also are changed on our life journey by the temperatures, and circumstances that touch us along the way. I am thankful that we walk not alone, and when we take His hand we eventually gently land exactly where we were destined.
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes beheld my unformed substance. In your book were written all the days that were formed for me, when none of them as yet existed. – Psalm 139:15 – 16
